In late 2021, a small group in Berlin experienced a unique music event—where low-frequency vibrations, rather than sound, immersed their bodies and altered their state of mind. The same experience later reached Lisbon, with emotional and transformative effects on attendees.

The music, created by Deaf and hearing artists, is felt rather than heard, using low frequencies to create a visceral and immersive experience. These ephemeral performances cannot be recorded—they must be lived.

Over the years, Deaf talents trained at Sub_Bar Academy and performed at major venues like ADE Festival, Silent Green, and Serralves Museum.

𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗯_𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 #𝟭 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝟯𝟬 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲, establishing a new music style for the sense of touch and bridging Deaf and hearing communities. Featuring artists like Efdemin, Reboot, Byetone, Terence Fixmer, and more, the show is presented in various sign languages, subtitles, and sometimes audio.
