Editor The Festival is delighted to welcome back a great friend of Lebanon, Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi, today regarded as one of the greatest bandoneon players of his generation. Accompanied by a voice and a string ensemble, he presents a program where the greatest opera arias meet the haunting sounds of tango, in a dialogue of rare intensity.
In the second part, he will be joined by the Hymnos Choir by Philokalia conducted by S. Marana Saad, to perform excerpts from the deeply moving Misa Tango by Martín Palmeri. A work of great spiritual power that will bring the evening to a close on a moment of profound emotion.
